At Popo's birthday...

The gang of four at Popo's birthday last February, taken at a Vietnamese restaurant. The boys; Josh, Kallen, Jay and Aiyee, are mucking around in the restaurant's stage.

Entry on FB: One day I will...

"I've been reading that some of you guys are celebrating/celebrated your birthdays and it seems that every year added is a final demand to focus on something. It could be a career change, retirement, seachange of sorts, travel or crossing off that "bucket list" [if ever you have one]!

As we grow older, we can no longer afford to say "One day I will..." for we won't know if tomorrow will ever come at all..." [From my entry on Facebook]

Just in case you were wondering about the photo above, it is my grandson's Jaylen's foot resting on my car's dashboard one day in 27 January 2009 on the way home from Sydney Children's Hospital in Randwick. He was sleeping in the car.

I took him there for his monthly check up and everything is all clear [for those who does not know, he is recuperating from ALL - a type of leukaemia]. With lots of prayers, goodwill and best wishes from friends and relatives; as well as the power of science and medicines - Jaylen is now ok.

Speaking of "final demand to focus" on life - this boy has the heart to live a full life and he deserved to live a full one. For us who are much older... that "time" is nearing and that "demand" to celebrate life to the fullest is very fast approaching. Hence this unsolicited advise:
"Carpe diem"!

Sorry for not updating this blog... I am just a bit busy with friends on Facebook... finally succumbing to it.
